Welcome to Q Academy Pty Ltd, formerly the Australian Institute of Massage Queensland Pty Ltd.

We are an academy that is focussed solely on teaching Massage Therapy so we can provide our students the most specialised training possible, in this growing sector of the Health Care industry. 

We provide 100% live, face to face training in Remedial and Massage Therapy and are a Nationally Recognised Training organisation, RTO # 31896, with both Full time and Part time study options available for the following Nationally Recognised qualifications:-

  • Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice [HLT40307}.
  • Diploma of Remedial Massage [HLT50307].

What can the Q Academy offer you?

 
Most people who are planning to study Remedial Massage Therapy are looking to begin a new career as quickly as possible and don't want to wait a year or two before they can start earning money with their new skills.

Our courses are designed to get you fully trained and industry qualified in the most efficient and time effective way possible by making full use of your 3 to 6 months study time and by using advanced kinaesthetic learning techniques to make it fun and therefore memorable. Our full time courses are really full time and run 5 days a week of live training and our part time courses run 2 evenings a week plus a full day on the weekend, both programs get you industry qualified and earning in the shortest time possible.

Every extra month you take to get qualified can cost you thousands of dollars of potential lost income, making our courses the most cost effective by far. 
 
If you were to compare a typical twelve (12) months Remedial Massage course elsewhere, which would be classified as full time but is in usually only 2 or 3 days study a week, with our 5 days per week, six (6) months, full time program, then those extra six months could cost you $20,000 or more of potential lost income, which should be added the real cost of a typical (partially) full time, 12 months course.

You will learn not only the ‘how' to treat, but also and more importantly, the ‘why' because our Massage Therapy courses are based on the most up to date evidence-based scientific research.

 
 

Our Massage Therapy course fees are unique because they are ALL INCLUSIVE and offer exceptional value and peace of mind.

All the massage therapy text books, massage course manuals, oils, shirts and your first aid certificates are included in your full Diploma of Remedial Massage course fee as well as your own portable massage table, and yet our course fees are still amongst the most competitive in the country, especially for fully coached, live learning.

You also become a "Student for Life", which means :-

  • you can re-sit and study any part (or all) of the massage courses again, for FREE, to keep your knowledge fresh and up to date.
  • You can upgrade your annual CPR and first aid qualifications with us for FREE for the rest of your life, saving you $1000's.

We make learning Massage Therapy FUN, which is a fundamental part of our advanced kinaesthetic learning techniques.

We don't have any big three hour final exams or take home assignments. We have continual multiple choice in-class knowledge checks and you can re-take them as often as you need until you pass, just like your drivers license.

Our Careers Advisors can also help you get started with your new career after you have graduated and our Careers Board has an extensive list of potential employers for you to consider.
